What do you want to see on my blog?!

Hi everyone,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been really busy with work and school (again!!!). I've also been getting over the flu which I've had for nearly 2 weeks now!!

I have a few ideas on what to post on my blog, however if you have any ideas let me know as I really love blogging, however don't want to bore you all with the same posts over and over! I liked writing my Review on Maybelline babylips so I am planning on writing more reviews. For example, reviewing my Real Techniques brushes (a lot of my friends ask me about them too so they can come read it also), January favourites is another I'm sure I'll be posting and reviews on the products which I bought from NYX in my last blog post.

It's my birthday coming up (15 days woohooo), so I'm thinking about doing #OOTD posts, as I'm sure we will go out for a family meal or I'll do something with my friends. Also maybe a 'what I got for my birthday' post?! However it will most probably be stuff for driving and a car as i'm turning the big 1 7 oooooh hahaha so I'm not definite on this post yet!

As I said, any posts you would like me to post or anything you specifically like reading, then let me know and I'll be sure to take it into consideration:)

Sorry this was boring but I thought I'd post to make sure you all know where I'm at and that my blog is still alive haha!

NYX makeup haul

Hi everyone,

Yesterday I received my order from NYX (a makeup brand for whoever doesn't know). It's an American makeup brand, however, has a European online store and it is now sold in selected Next clothing stores in UK! I ordered off the online store and the postage costs a bomb!!! But because I spent over £30 (oops) I received free postage woohoo!

I went a bit lip crazy as you can see but also bought a highly recommended blush

Firstly, I bought a set of matte lip creams, as they were cheaper than buying them separately. I wanted the colours Antwerp which is a coral/nude shade and Addis Ababa which is a hot pink shade so when I saw they was in a set I thought I'd buy it to save money and also try another shade for a cheaper price! My lips are quite dry at the moment so they aren't my favourite things ever at the moment, however they do have a really nice formula and the smell is amazing so I do think I will love these when it comes to spring and summer:) The set of 3 was £12 and called 'Give a Little Love'.
That was all a bit negative but I do like NYX lip products as I have the mega shine set including 'beige', 'natural' and 'sugar pie'. I love them and they smell incredible!!! I just want to eat them haha.

I'm not keen on the colour of this lipstick I bought, it was in the sale for £4 so this is why I bought it, however the colour isn't the same as it looked on the site so it wasn't as I expected it to be. A shame really as It's not a colour I would wear :( 

However, the lip tint is defiantly something I am going to be wearing, in fact I wore it at school today. It's very moisturising and has a great tint. I would say it is a dupe for the maybelline babylips which I reviewed in a recent blog post:) I would highly recommend this lip tint and it was cheap!! In the sale for £3.50

NYX black label lipstick in 'That 70's Pink' and Color Lip Balm in 'Merci'

The last and my favourite item which I bought was a powder blush in the colour 'Rose Garden'. I already had the shade 'Mocha' which I bought for my prom so I knew I liked the formula, and also a lot of bloggers/vloggers recommened it such as Tanya Burr. She used it in her back to school makeup tutorial on her channel and it just made her look so healthy. It is quite a light shade of pink and had gold speckles in it which I love. Because of the gold shimmer it can be worn as a blush and highlighter at the same time so you don't need to mess around with two products in the morning when getting ready (eg for school, this was a lot easier for me)! Overall I love it and it will definatly be my go to blush!

I also got one other product but I won't be showing that as it is for my friend for her birthday and I know she will read this (she proof reads my posts incase of spelling/grammar mistakes hahaha, as she is an A Level English student. Thanks Em;))

A Massive thank you!!!!

Hi everyone,

I've just received the email saying my blog has reached 100 followers (!!!!!!!), i'm so excited right!
In the big blogging world this isn't a lot, however to me it is so many! I can't believe it:D

Considering I started my blog nearly 2 weeks a go now I am in shock that it has gained so many followers and readers in that short space of time! Whenever I get a new follower or comment  on a blog, I get more and more excited every time so just know it all does mean the world to me!:)

As i'm not loaded, and have a car to save for, (mum took money off me today again:(() I won't be doing a giveaway just yet, however keep a look out:)

Tomorrow I will be uploading a post on what I received from NYX, my order came today woohoo! There will be reviews on the products in the next few weeks so keep reading for them and also any requests on what you want me to post about, make sure you let me know by commenting, emailing me or tweeting me (fancy new (not fully finished) social media buttons to the right... Top 5 fave body butters

Hi everyone,

Don't you just love body butters/creams? I am obsessed! Infact obsessed isn't even the word... I have so many!! I am known in my sport lessons for walking late into practical lessons with a strong scent coming off of my legs (mainly of Raspberries, thats the moisturiser I currently have in my sport bag), because i've been moisturising my legs in the changing rooms... Oooops! Always got to smell nice I say, not that anyones going to be smelling my legs haha!

I can't even count have many I have but I've narrowed it down to my top 5! I'll give you an explanation of what I think they smell like (what the description on the back of the product says) so picture me sat on my bed smelling them all lol!!
Im going to do them in order, so 5 is my least fave and 1 is my absolute favourite. I obviously love them all as these are the ones which have made my top 5 but I do have 1 specific fave!

5. Sanctuary spa body lotion: To me this has no smell to it at all which I like. I normally love strong sweet/fruity scents but on days when I can't be bothered or not going somewhere (eg bed) I will use this because I don't want to waste my fave scenty ones.... Lol so over protective hahaha
4. Soap and Glory Sugary Crush body butter: I love this so much!!! My best friend Emily bought me a set for christmas, it included the body butter, body scrub and body wash and it just smells amazing. It is the Lime scent products of S&G and I agree that it smells of lime but all I can smell is Key Lime Pie and Lemon Cheesecake which we make at work!! That makes me want to eat it haha. When I opened it on Christmas day I shoved it in my sisters face because she loves cheesecake and she loved the smell so much that she tried it to see if it tasted the same as it smelt... Apparently it didn't hahaha soz sis!!

3. Justin Bieber Someday: This has to be the gayest pick ever! Don't get me wrong I love Justin but its a bit lame isn't it hahaha! However, don't say anything until you've smelt it!! Beautiful!! Good job Biebs! I don't have a clue what this smells of and it doesn't say on the packaging so i'm taking a guess and saying flowers. I love it!!

2. Body shop body lotion: As silly as this sounds it was so hard to decide between the last two... Hahah! I decided to chose Body shop body lotions as they do the best scents ever! My favourites are Satsuma and Strawberry. I ran out of  my strawberry and satsuma lotions around the same time so I was very happy that I received a set for christmas including this brand spanking new satsuma body butter.
This is my brand new pot and I don't dare use it because it looks so pretty hahaha! I also don't think I need any more pots open at the minute lol!
1. Victoria Secret PINK!: I'm sorry to tell you this but it has been discontinued............:( I found out a couple days before I was going to an airport (best place to by VS, plus I don't have a store near me) and I was so upset because I didn't stock up:( I'm literally on rashens when using this because I can't bear to throw it away! It smells of meringue and whipped cream (according to the packaging) and being the scent expert I am, I totes agree!! It sounds amazing doesn't it? Well if I could I would put a rashened portion onto my blog for you all to smell through your screens to show you just how amazing it is! I love it so much, I only use it for special occasions now, I think the last time I could bring myself around to using quite a bit of it was for my prom, which was in June, and I got so many compliments on how good I smelt....lol!
I'm on the hunt for a new favourite VS scent, I did find one but I threw the bottle away after I used it and now I can't find it anywhere... Bad idea Kieren, Bad idea!!!

Anyway sorry for another very long post, by now i'm guessing you've realised I love to talk a lot haha!
Also I would just like to say I made a post about the Liebster awards with 5 (!!!!!) new nominations in and posted it on Sunday but it deleted itself and I can't get it back:( So annoyed!! But thank you to the people who nominated me, means a lot!

Day off school for me

Hi everyone,

I was off school today because I've been ill all weekend! I've got the bug that's going around and it's been passed through my whole family. Eventually it hit me!! It's so horrible, I feel so weak and ache so much, my throat legit feels like I've swallowed razor blades and I woke up in the night not being able to breathe lol oops!

My mum makes me homemade soup to take to school so I had some of that for my dinner and it was fab! It looks gross but it tastes great!

It's potato, leek, onion and parsnips flavour, bloody love it!!!

I watched 'This Morning' and 'Loose Women' (Day time shows in UK) and lots of Catfish and Teen Mom, such funny episodes today hahaha!! Days like this I'm annoyed that mum cancelled Disney Channel:( haha how lame! I sat on my sofa drinking lots of Lemsip (so gross), cold and flu tablets and lots of water! Also I somehow ended up on clothing websites and NYX makeup site and somehow ended up buying quite a bit..... Good job I get paid weekly lol! I'll be doing a post on what I bought when the items come:)
Hopefully I'm better for school tomorrow, It's so boring staying at home!

Also did anyone watch CBB tonight? I'm absolutely laughing my head off at Liz telling Luisa about her dead cat hahahahahah!! I normally hate her but she was hilarious tonight when trying to make Luisa fail her task lol!

REVIEW: Maybelline baby lips

Hi everyone,
Sorry I didn't post on Thursday or Friday but I was so busy with school work on Thursday to hand in by Friday (which I did woohooo) and I had work on Friday night so no time to post I'm afraid:(

Anyway into this post... I had seen so much love for the baby lips all last year from American youtubers and bloggers so when I saw they finally made their way into superdrug and boots over here in England I was so excited to get my hands on them!

I purchased the ones which have a tint of colour to them; Cherry me, Pink Punch and Peach Kiss. I absolutely love them and have used them too death!
My favourite has the be the darkest pink colour, Cherry me! I wear it basically every day for school and love it.

They are £2.99 each and in Superdug buy 1 get 2nd half price at the minute:)

They say that they moisturise your lips for 8 hours which I don't really agree with but they are really moisturising. They also have SPF 20 which is great for the sun (which we don't have in England) but I will definitely be using them when I'm on holiday to make sure my lips don't burn!

Overall I really would recommend these and will be purchasing the non tinted ones just as my daily lip balm. Also can not wait until more colours are released in England, hurry up maybelline!!!

My Favourite lipsticks

Hi everyone,

I've had over 500 page views whaaaaat?! Its quite scary knowing that many people have read my blog haha, thank you so much for reading and following me though:D

Today i'm going to be telling you what my favourite lipsticks are. 5/6 are from the highstreet and the 6th is from beloved Mac. I'm a very big lover of blue toned pink lipsticks so just to warn you that is what most are haha..
Firstly I apologise for the poor quality of pictures in this blogpost. My camera just didn't want to pick up the colour of any of the lipsticks so that is why they all look very similar!

L-R: MUA lipstick (red) in shade 1, Revlon Colorburst lipbutter in 075 Lollipop, Little Mix Lipstick by Collection in Perrie, Rimmel lasting perfection by Kate Moss in 101, One Direction Lipstick by MUA in Moments, Mac Amplified in Chatterbox. 

Starting with the red lipstick from MUA, it is a classic red lipstick, it has a blue undertone and lasts on your lips great. Bargain price at £1! 

The Revlon Colorburst lipbutter is my favourite fuchsia pink, this is a lipbutter so it is quite sheer which I like as you can wear it as a lip tint or build it up to be a bright bright pink lipstick. £7.99 but now on offer for £5, I might have to go and buy some more now I know they're on offer....

Perrie's lipstick from Collection (Collection 2000 as I will always call it) is an unusual purple colour. However I've found it to be the only purple tone to really suit me enough to actually dare wear out of the house and not just when you're practising your makeup in the mirror haha. I wear it with a natural eye look as I wore it out with a brown smokey eye and it was very full on!! It is also only £2.49 woop!!

The Kate Moss lipstick has been on my shopping list for ages and when I was in Birmingham before christmas I finally bought one. I got the shade 101 as it is the most neutral colour in the collection I would say. I'm next wanting to buy the Red one which everybody raves about! The only bad point about this lipstick is that it smells of watermelon and I hate watermelon haha. This was £5.49!

Another MUA lipstick, this one is the Niall lipstick from the One Direction Kiss You range. I still think its hilarious that they have their own makeup but hey ho I had to try it and obviously due to this lipstick being one of my favourites, I love it! I chose the Niall one called Moments because it was the most neutral pink colour and I wear it a lot for school so obviously don't want anything bright! I love it and still need to buy the rest of the boys. These are a bit more expensive than the normal MUA lipsticks but at £3 you can't go wrong!

Last but not least my Mac lipstick in Chatterbox. I don't actually know what Chatterbox looks like because a few people I know have it and the colours are all completely different. However my Chatterbox is quite a bright baby pink which I love. I got mine for £12 from Birmingham airport but in all Mac shops they are £15 so I would buy all Mac makeup at an airport lol!

No colour has shown up quite right but as you can see I'm a bit of a pink lipstick lover!

My Golden Globes best dressed celebs

Hi everyone,

All I did today at sixth form was sit on The Daily Mail and E News websites and look at all the amazing dresses from the Golden Globes which happened last night in Beverly Hills, California. I am obsessed with Awards ceremony's mainly because of the dresses. I record all of the award ceremony's which are broadcasted on UK TV just to sit and watch to see what my favourite celebs and actresses are wearing (and actors too, Leonardo looked beauts as always).

There was so many beautiful dresses and a few which I didn't take a liking too haha (sorry Jennifer Lawrence I love you really)!!

My winter clothing essentials

Hi everyone,

As it's winter and very very cold in England, I have been looking for a few staple pieces that I could continue to wear throughout the cold months.
For Christmas (I got it just before Christmas because I couldn't wait to wear it), I got a new coat. I'd been looking for one for a while which was a dark burgundy colour with fur as that's what I saw a lot of celebs and style icons wearing. I finally found the perfect one in Tescos! I love Tescos clothes and can always count on them to find some lovely items.  Both my sister and I got coats  from Tescos as they had a fab selection and  there was a huge sale!!
I got mine for £25 down from  £40 and my sisters was £35 down from £45 I think. Absolute bargain I say!

I wear it with everything, but if I'm having a full on lazy day where all I want to do is wear black (all the time hahaha), I just chuck on a pair of black jeans/leggings and a black top and my coat jazzes it up a little.
I also am loving this tartan scarf from the trusty Primark. I'm not so keen on Primark clothes, you can sometimes find some great things but I prefer to only buy accessories & shoes from Primark now. My sister got me it for Christmas, I got her the same one hahaha, and I wear it a lot underneath my coat. If I'm wearing my black top and black bottoms a tartan scarf is what makes it less boring.

The scarf was £4, fabby price, thanks sis! 

My last staple item for Winter is my high boots from Dorothy Perkins! Everyone needs a pair of black boots and I have about 3 pairs of ankle ones so I decided to go for a high pair. They have gold detailing on the buckle and that goes around the back of the ankle, if you get me haha.
I absolutely love them and Dorothy Perkins always have sales or some kind of percentage off so you  would never be paying full price. They were £40 full price and I paid £31! If I could, I'd buy two pairs because I love them so much, so so comfy and a bargain for a pair of boots which are worn a huge amount. I will defiantly be wearing them throughout the winter months and they will be put away to be ready to re appear in my shoe collection at the earliest show of autumn...

New years resolutions

Hi everyone,

We are well into January now and I may be a bit late but I thought I'd write a post on my resolutions. 

Every year I make a few up in my head, the usual lose weight, eat healthier, go to the gym, but I'm not really one to stick to them. I hate the gym, it's just so boring so that one never sticks around for long!! I love food too much to lose weight and I'm just telling myself it's the way I'm built and still my puppy fat haha! And when it comes to what I eat, I do eat really healthy (says me sat here right now eating a burger haha). It's the weekend and these days aren't made for healthy food.... But no I do eat lots of fruit and veg, salad isn't my fave thing but I do make myself eat atleast 1 lettuce leaf and I don't eat a lot of chocolate or crisps. 

I've decided to make my resolutions more fun and less full on this year so I know I might have the chance to stick to them.

1. Keep saving for my car and insurance.

It's my birthday next month on the 12th so I'll be starting to learn to drive, I want to pass my test obviously but I need to save for my insurance as that's the bit which will cost me the most! I work a lot at a local pub and I earn quite a bit as I do so many hours (over Christmas & new year I worked everyday except Christmas Day!!!) I give my mum atleast half of what I earn each week to put away in my bank and at this point I would say I have atleast over half of my insurance money woop!

2. Keep on top of school work.

I'm an A Level student and as most of you probably know, it's a lot of effort keeping up with all the work you get! I'm lucky as I'm only doing 3 A Levels where a lot of my friends are doing 4 so I don't get half the amount of work as them. However it is still super hard, especially if I don't have any motivation after being at school all day (which is everyday). I come home and all I do I sit and watch tv and then go to bed haha. So I need to use my free periods more effectively and after school come home to do work rather than eat and sleep!

3. Keep blogging.

I know I've recently only just started but I really enjoy blogging and knowing people read my posts and enjoy them it really does make me want to write more! Thanks to the people who follow me and have been commenting on my posts:)

4. Meet One Direction

A girl can dream right?! 

You probably won't know but I am a huge One Direction fan (don't turn on me and stop reading.. Haha). I've been a fan since 2010 and been to every tour and this year I'm going to see them on their 'Where we are Tour' at Wembley in June with my best friend Emily and I can not wait!! I'm hoping to bump into them sometime this year somewhere around England lol! If any of you have any connections, hit me up please ;)

This is me and my best friend Emily, we went to the One Direction 'This is Us' film premiere in London haha! 

So much fun:D

Sanctuary Spa Christmas gifts

Hi everyone,

Anyway onto my second post:D
My mum got both me and my older sister Bethany these sanctuary spa Covent garden boxes for christmas and i've been absolutely loving it! I first heard about this brand just before christmas when Tanya Burr (my fave) mentioned the body lotion in one of her vlogmas youtube videos and I wanted to try it since then so thanks for getting me it mum!!! I haven't tried all of the products which came in it yet because there was a lot, however the ones I have tried I love!!

It all came in this massive tin which i'm now using as storage for all the skin care products I'm not using yet (as I got loads for christmas). 

My favourite of the products are these face products. I used to use simple cleanser to take off my makeup and cleanse my skin, but I now use this cleanser after I have removed my makeup. Since i started doing this my face has been a lot clearer and less red and blotchy. I have really sensitive skin, especially on my face so I am super happy this doesn't bring me out in a rash or spots or any horrible blotches. I've also added  in another step before cleansing which is exfoliating my face using the sanctuary spa exfoliator. It is F A B!! It makes my skin feels sooooo soft and I think it has toned down my discolouration around my mouth area (LOL)!!

As you can see I've used quite a bit of the exfoliator considering I've only been using it for about 2 weeks! 

I think my mum got it on a deal because she said herself and a few of her friends went into boots and bought the shop out of these on a christmas afternoon out in wetherspoons haha! I think it was around £19 which is so cheap for the amount you get but now its back to its normal price of £40. I think £40 is still quite good for how much you get but hopefully its still in the sale so get down to boots woohooo!!

Let me know if you've ever tried any of these products and which ones are your favourites. If you haven't tried any, I highly recommend!!

Late on the bandwagon?

Hi everyone, i'm ever so rubbish at introductions so I thought it was best to get straight into my first blog post.. A beauty post (my favourites!!)

Some might say I am late onto this bandwagon and I'd say I possibly am, but when the whole craze for lip crayons came out they just didn't interest me at all. The only ones which seemed to take my fancy were the clinique chubby sticks, but with a price tag of  £17 each I felt I best not as my mum would possibly have killed me..

Last week my sister and I went sale shopping in Boots and Superdrug. As well as buying some new hair curlers (woohoo!!) I spotted a lip crayon from the brand 'Seventeen', only available in boots. There wasnt a wide range, they only had 4 colours but these 4 colours were all different so there was a variety I would say.

It was only £4.99 too and I had a voucher so I received an extra 200 points on my boots card Woop!

I chose the pinky berry colour as it's the colour as i've been wanting something like it for ages now. It says on the packagaing that it moisturieses and finishes with a shine which I totally agree with!

I will most defiantly be purchasing more of the colours and trying out a lot more lip crayons. Maybe one day I might even treat myself to a Clinique Chubby stick :)
