Birthday gifts

Hi everyone,

I promised a birthday haul and here it is! (I didn't have some presents on hand so this isn't it all).

I received 2 Tanya Burr lipglosses and a Mac Lipglass from my sister and Miss Manga mascara from my bezzie Sophie! Some bath products were also amongst my presents, a lush bath bomb, a whole load of lovely smelling bath bombs from 'the bath bomb company' and a Ted Baker set full on bath and body products. My sister also got me a bag and a purse, which I love!

Such a nice colour and fits everything in!

I also received some money and this has now disappeared from my purse into my bank account to save for my car insurance and car! I've now had 3 driving lessons and I am loving it woop!! Can't wait to pass :D

Mac Lipglass in lychee luxe

Hi everyone,

Thought I'd do a quick post to show you my new lip product which I received from my sister for my birthday. I was lucky enough to get a Mac product from her (along with a few other fab things)! She got me a lip glass in the shade 'Lychee Luxe'. It is a coral toned colour with specs of gold shimmer in it! I'm wearing it today and absolutely loving it:)

I also got the Rimmel match perfection foundation the other day after many recommendations and first impressions i'm liking it!

Happy birthday to me

Warning: A very picture heavy post and iPhone camera quality pictures sorry!!!! 

Hi everyone,

Today is my 17th birthday (12th February) and this evening my mum, dad, sister and I went out for food! I was at school today so nothing special happened except I got a sick balloon from my friend Amber, and I had my first driving lesson, scary stuff I tell you!!

Tonight, We ended up going to my work, mainly because my fam haven't tried the food since the new owners started but also we got discount because I'm an employee hahaha!, so why not I say?!
I already knew I was going to have the most popular dish on the menu, Chicken in a basket because it's one of the meals which I actually haven't tried at work (working in the kitchen I get to try everything haha). My mum went for the 'Woolpack burger', my dad had the 'Haddock and Chips' and my sister went all out and had the 'Sirloin Steak', after all she did especially come home from uni for my birthday, woop thanks sis!  Because we were so hungry we scoffed it down straight away forgetting I wanted to take pictures so you will just have to picture everything...

My friend Zoe who works on the bar gave me a balloon, thanks Zo! And my sis got me a badge (along with some amaze presents which will be in a blog post soon!

My sister came home from Nottingham Uni woohoooo!!

Hi everyone,

I ordered some products from the Tanya Burr by Eye Candy! Collection the day they was released, luckily before they all sold out. I got a couple things to try them out.

L-R: Champagne Toast and Just Peachy

I got two lipglosses; Champagne Toast and Just Peachy. I received them quite late because one was out of stock after I ordered it but the delivery was free so I can't complain. When they finally came I was so pleased with how they looked. The packaging of the lipglosses are lovely and Tan looks Beauts on the packaging which the products came in.
They are so moisturising, shiny and last on the lips ages. The smell is Devine and I thought I wouldn't find anything that smells better than NYX lip products but these do!! The only fault I have is that the colours are a lot different from what they are advertised as on the websites. Champagne toast looks a light pink colour with specks of glitter in it online but in real life it is a lot browner toned and shearer. I can't complain though because it makes a lovely clear coat on top of a lipstick or on a bare lip making the lips look very shiny.
I haven't tried the other shade I have yet but I'm sure I'll love it.

They are now available online on the Superdrug website as well as Feel Unique and a few other beauty websites so I can't wait to buy more:) Also I'm very excited to try some nail varnishes as I've seen a lot of great reviews about them online. It's my birthday on Wednesday so I'm hoping to get a couple other colours too (hint hint mum;))

My 'Real Techniques' brush collection

Hi everyone,

I've been umming and arring for a while now to do this post (mainly because I needed to clean my brushes), and finally decided to press post, so hope you enjoy:)

I forgot to photograph them after I cleaned them so this

is after a couple of uses.. Do mind me haha!

My collection of Real Techniques brushes started in April last year, I first bought the 'Expert face brush' and I absolutley loved it! Because I loved it so much, I then bought the powder brush and blush brush together on a buy 1 get 2nd half price, which offer is nearly always on in boots, and I love these two just as much! They are all so soft and i'm sometimes late getting ready in the morning because I sit stroking my face with the powder brush hahaha!

When my sister moved to Uni in September, as a leaving present I ordered her an 'expert face brush' and also ordered a cheeky purchase for myself, 'The starter kit'. I use 3/5 of the brushes in this set on a day to day basis, however I have used the 2 others, the 'accent brush' and 'fine liner brush' a few times but just not a daily essential.

These 3 are what I use from the 'starter kit' everyday; 

'Deluxe crease brush', 'brow brush' and 'base shadow brush'

My next buy will be the 'core collection' and the 'setting brush'. They are quite expensive but I would really recommend them and for the amount I use them, I have gotten my moneys worth definatly!

#FOTD- Everyday makeup look

Hi everyone,

So today after about a week of plucking up the courage I've finally decided to put up a #FOTD post!
I absolutely love applying makeup and trying new products so my everyday makeup doesn't stay the same very often (changing my everyday lipstick or blush) but this is what i'm wearing at the minute! It's my go to makeup and I wear it to school everyday. I'm no makeup artist (lol I wish), so if i'm doing something wrong then sorry haha!

I stay very neutral but add a little colour on my checks and lips:)

My go to foundation at the moment (and has been since April 2013), is Rimmel Wake Me Up. It is sometimes too orange for me so I do mix it with my bourjois healthy mix (which I hate on it's own) and together it makes a petfectooo colour for me.

Collection Lasting Perfection concealer  is my fave, I apply it under my eyes (quite a bit because i've got my dads eyes, thanks dad love). It is also great for your spots and blemishes, fab coverage!!! If you don't have it then get it, I swear you'll love it!!

To set my face I use Rimmel Stay Matte powder, my skin tone is oily and it is so good at keeping my oiliness on the low key.

In my NYX haul I posted last week, I showed you all my new blush in 'rose garden', I am absolutely loving it and have been wearing it everyday since I got it.

For filling in my eyebrows I use Mac 'charcol brown', people always ask me what I use on my eyebrows and I say eyeshadow and they're like 'whattttttt?!?', But blame Tanya Burr haha. She got me hooked, I find it so much easier to apply and think it looks a lot better (on me) than pencil! 

I got my trusty Maybelline the falsies mascara back, finally, after it being out of stock EVERYWHERE over christmas! I love it so much and have been using it for over a year now!

Also in my NYX blog post I showed that I got this lip balm, it has a hint of colour in it and makes my lips a light pink colour, just like the baby lips so i'm always switching between my fave babylips, cherry me, and my new NYX lip balm! 

I wear eyeshadow everyday, I feel so weird and incomplete without it and at the minute I am loving my Urban Decay Naked Basics palette! For everyday I use the pinky toned colour 'W.O.S' (3rd left) all over my lid and the light brown called 'Naked 2' (4th left) in my crease. For a highlight I use the first colour called 'Venus' in the inner corners of my eyes and on my brow bone.

Now for the scary part, a picture of the makeup! These two pictures are on two separate days but they show the two different Lip balms that I wear! Sorry they aren't great pictures, when taking them on my camera the lighting literally made me look white so I had to use my phone!

This is with babylips cherry me on my lips:) 

(It looks darker than usual, I had a lip stain on before that's why haha)

I wear it to work all the time as it's quick and easy
